Composts
Uses appropriate stock management techniques to reduce food waste and excess packaging
Has installed energy efficient lighting throughout the restaurant
Has installed aerated taps and dual flush toilets
Uses EatWare tableware and takeaway packaging (a compostable, zero-emission manufacturing technology product - no chemical or solid waste created - made from the by-product of bamboo and sugarcane)
Uses biodegradable bags and straws and cornstarch cutlery for takeaway meals, as well as discounts for customers who bring their own container and bag
Uses eucalyptus oil and bi-carb soda for cleaning purposes wherever possible
Sends waste cooking oil to Fryer Fuels, an organisation in Darwin that recycles the oil for biodiesel
Stocks Cascade Green (100% carbon offset beer)
Uses green office products such as recycled paper, recycles printer cartridges and chooses online and e- mail marketing and online billing
Has the menu printed with soya based inks on paper that is chlorine free and recycled under the Environmental Management System ISO 14001
